1. Voting (Verify Voter Identification -> Receive Ballots -> Mark Ballots -> Cast Ballots -> Apply Ink on the Cuticle of the Voters’ Right-Hand thumb)
2. If there are no voters in the queue at 4 pm, the Presiding Officer announces the closure of voting and commences preparations for the next stage of Vote Counting
· Counting process
1. Presiding Officer and Polling Assistants unfold and straighten the cast ballots into a single heap.
2. Votes are sorted and counted in bundles of 50 to make addition and counting easier.
3. During counting, the Presiding officer also determines Votes that are spoiled and those that are invalid.
4. The Presiding Officer announces the winner at the Polling station.
