Hosted by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Armenia, a member of A-WEB’s Executive Board, and A-WEB, this year’s meeting brought together 30 delegates from 12 member EMBs to discuss key priorities for the organization’s future.
As A-WEB’s governing body, the Executive
Board meets annually to review progress, make important decisions, and advance
strategic initiatives.
Major agenda items included the 2025 Progress
Report, the 2026 Project and Budget Plan, amendments to the A-WEB Charter, the
selection of A-WEB Electoral Best Practices, the appointment of new members to
the Oversight and Audit Committee, the selection of the next EB Meeting host,
and the A-WEB Election Observation Protocol.
Together, these discussions reaffirmed our shared commitment to strengthening democracy, building trust, and promoting peaceful elections worldwide. |
