Launch of the 2nd A-WEB Best Practices & Initiatives Awards (2024–2025)
The A-WEB Secretariat is pleased to announce the launch of the 2nd A-WEB Best Practices & Initiatives Awards, recognizing outstanding innovations and achievements in electoral management across our global membership.
Building
on the success of the inaugural awards presented at the 6th A-WEB General
Assembly in October 2024, this initiative seeks to promote mutual learning and
cooperation by showcasing pioneering efforts from EMBs worldwide. These awards
offer an opportunity to highlight impactful practices in areas such as:
Information on Submissions All A-WEB member EMBs are invited to submit their best practices and initiatives carried out during 2024–2025. Submissions must follow the attached format and be sent to the Secretariat at aweb131014@gmail.com by Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
If you intend to participate but anticipate delays in submission, please notify the Secretariat in advance.
Review and Recognition All entries will be reviewed by the A-WEB Executive Board, which will serve as the official Review Committee. The awardees will be selected during the 14th Executive Board Meeting in March 2026, and the winners will be formally recognized at the 7th A-WEB General Assembly, scheduled to take place in Manila, Philippines, in the second half of 2026.
Sharing Excellence Award-winning initiatives will be featured on the A-WEB portal, creating a global repository of proven practices in electoral management. This resource will support knowledge exchange and foster innovation among EMBs worldwide.
