In general, electoral facilitators must guide the electoral mission of the National Civil Registry of the Republic of Colombia to all citizens designated as voting jurors, official delegates, electoral witnesses and Public Force and Scrutiny Commissions. That is, the roles and responsibilities of facilitators are as follows: - Studying and socializing the documents containing the guidelines and other communiqués issued by the Electoral Delegation Registry’s Office and its two Directorates; - Developing the pedagogical material; - Coordinating and validating the logistics of the locality where they will render their services as facilitators The essential qualities and attitudes that facilitators should have are as follows: - Abiding by the electoral training guidelines issued by the Electoral Training Coordination; - Appropriate and respectful language to address the actors of the electoral process; - A good attitude, communication skills, a sense of integration and teamwork. The 2023 elections are of vital importance for the Colombian Electoral Organization. They are the last electoral contests in charge of the Registrar Alexander Vega Rocha, who has been responsible for guaranteeing Colombian democracy since 2019.
