Welcome to A-WEB,
In October 14, 2013, the Association of World Election Bodies saw its historic beginning in the Republic of Korea.
In only 2 years after the proposal of establishment in 2011 that took place in Seoul, the hopes of election management bodies and international organizations worldwide launched A-WEB as the largest international electoral organization for the development of democracy.
This was the result of a global consensus on the necessity of an electoral organization that can establish sustainable government through free and fair elections and contribute to socioeconomic development.
I hope this website to serve as a hub of communication where all those committed to free and fair elections as well as member organizations and international electoral organizations worldwide can store and share valuable opinions and hopes.
A-WEB will put our every effort so that the small seed of hope for peace and security in the world through free, fair, transparent and participative election can spread its roots as a sturdy tree of worldwide democracy.
