A WEB

 On June 10, 2018, members of the A-WEB Special Committee on Charter Amendments convened in Seoul in order to discuss how the future activities of the Special Committee shall be conducted. 8 representatives from 5 countries, Dominican Republic, Malawi, Burkina Faso, Taiwan, Fiji, were present. As observers, 6 representatives from Romania and India attended as well. The committee members discussed various communication tools to facilitate an active communication among the members and assigned roles of A-WEB secretariat and the Special Committee. Until the end of this year, each member of the Special Committee will form their own opinions on charter amendments and A-WEB secretariat will make a draft based on their opinions. During this Special Committee meeting, Malawi Electoral Commission was selected to be the Chairperson of the committee, while the Junta Central Electoral of the Dominican Republic to be the Vice-chairperson of the committee.
