- Presidential: Plurality vote. In order to avoid a run-off, a candidate must obtain either 40 percent of the vote or 35 percent with at least a 5-point lead over the nearest rival.
- National Assembly
1. 90 members are elected through a closed-list proportional representation system and 2 members are reserved for the former President.
2. There are 17 multi-member constituencies for 70 seats (District magnitude ranging from 2 to 19) and one nationwide constituency comprising 20 seats.
3. One seat is reserved for the previous president and one seat for the runner-up in the previous presidential election.
· Voting process
1. Verify citizen identity card, their supplementary voting document, or their civic book.
2. The voter will mark on each ballot with an "X" or any other sign in the box of their preference and will enter it duly folded in the corresponding ballot box.
· Counting process
1. The Voting Receiving Board will proceed to carry out the scrutiny at the same polling place and at the sight of the prosecutors.
2. Once the vote count is over, the President of the Voting Receiving Board will inform the Supreme Electoral Council and the respective Electoral Council, with the presence and confirmation of the prosecutors, of the results of the corresponding electoral vote count.
3. It will immediately inform the prosecutors accredited to said Council and will publish provisional interim reports.
