Prime Minister: appointed by the governor-general

Senate: 21 Senate members are appointed by the governor-general. The governor-general appoints members of the Senate on recommendation by the Prime Minister and the leader of the opposing party. The ruling party is given 13 seats in the Senate, while the minority party is allotted 8 seats.

 2. Voting (Present a Voter ID card  -> Issue a ballot -> Mark a ballot -> Cast a ballot)

· Counting process

 1.  Manual Count: open the ballot box and empty its contents, and count in the place where there are        the poll clerk, not less than two witnesses, and the presiding officer.

 2. Add up the total number of votes.

 3. Make and sign any necessary amendments to the statement of the poll.
