· Number of polling stations: 94,974

· Opening and closing time of polling stations

 - 8 am and 6 pm respectively

· Voter turnout: 80.41% (2019 presidential election)

· Voting age: 16

Presidential: simple plurality second-round system. Must gain at least 45% of the votes or 40% and have 10 point difference from a candidate with the second most votes. 

Parliamentary: 

  1. 136 members​ in the Regional Representative Council are elected by a single non-transferable vote to serve 5-year terms. 560 members in the House of Representatives​ are elected by open list proportional representation in multi-member constituencies to serve 5-year terms.

  2. Chamber of Deputies: multi-member districts, seats given from 5 to 70. Closed, blocked-party-list system, D’Hondt system.

  3. National Senate: 3 senators from each of the 42 provinces, directly and jointly.

 

· Voting process

  1. Voting ( Verify National ID Card -> Receive Ballots -> Mark Ballots -> Cast Ballots )

· Counting process 

  1. Manual Count in Polling Station: the president of the polling station opens the ballot box and in the presence of party agents, counts the votes.

  2. Poll worker picks up the telegram from each polling station, then takes them to transmission centers, and Digital transmission from transmission centers to National Data Center is done.

 

· Time to take to announce voting results in the country: Around 1 week
