The 3rd Meeting of the A-WEB's Executive Board Held in Bucharest, Romania
On March 25th of 2015, the Association of World Election Bodies(A-WEB) held its 3rd meeting of the Executive Board in Bucharest, Romania. Senior Officials from the election management bodies of the republic of Korea, the Dominican Republic, India, Romania, the South African Republic, Canada, the Republic of Kenya, and Bosnia-Herzegovina attended the meeting and listened to the Secretariat’s briefing on 2014 Annual report and 2015 Project Plans. Promising an active cooperation for establishment of sustainable global democracy through promotion of an effective election system, they discussed issues pertaining to the Secondment from EMBs to the A-WEB Secretariat, Funding Strategies, New Membership Applicants, Amendments to the A-WEB Charter, Establishment of A-WEB Regional Offices, and the Country Projects.
