A WEB

The A-WEB Secretariat delegation visited the headquarters of International IDEA on 8 December 2022. Dr. Seung Kim, Advisor to the Secretary General of A-WEB, and Mr. Max Ahn, a Senior Researcher, met with Dr. Massimo Tommasoli, Director of Global Programmes and Mr. Sead Alihodzic, Senior Advisor on Electoral Processes.

​The two parties shared their experiences and activities in the area of electoral and democratic assistance. They also reviewed the programs on which the two organizations had worked together for the past seven years since they officially established a partnership. They agreed on the necessity of further deepening the partnership. They discussed and identified potential areas of future cooperation, including election management capacity building programs, joint research and publication, and hosting of international seminars. They also agreed to renew the MoU signed in 2015 so that they could carry forward a joint project in earnest.
