From 23 to 26 November a delegation from the A-WEB Secretariat visited Bucharest, Romania to meet with the Permanent Electoral Authority (PEA) of Romania. The President of the PEA, Mr. Constantin-Florin Mituletu-Buica, expressed the PEA’s commitment to promoting A-WEB activities as a member of the Executive Board.
During their visit to Bucharest, the Secretariat delegation had meetings with Sorin-Gabriel Lazar, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Mr. Ion Mincu-Radulescu, Permanent Representative of the PEA to A-WEB, to discuss the cooperation activities for 2022 as well as the upcoming 10th Executive Board Meeting and 5th General Assembly Meeting.
As one of the founding members of A-WEB, the Permanent Electoral Authority of Romania served as Chair from 2017 to 2019. |
