| Signing of an MoU between A-WEB and ANFREL |

The Association of World Election Bodies(A-WEB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with the Asian Network for Free Elections(ANFREL) on Cooperation in developing Democracy and Election Education Program(DEEP) on April 19, 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The MOU agreement is related to the last Consultation Meeting for establishing Democracy and Election Education Program(DEEP) which took place on 27th to 29th October 2018.
In the MOU Mr. Kim Yong-Hi, Secretary General of A-WEB, and Ms. Chantanie Watawala Executive Director of ANFREL, promised each other to closely work together to push forward with the following cooperative and high-impact activities in the field of election education program: developing joint curriculum; raising funds; convening of workshops; and exchanging human resources. This MOU was a great opportunity for both A-WEB and ANFREL to strengthen their relationship and further provide framework for cooperation in developing the election education program.
